The institute was established in 2002, running under Bihar Aviation Training and Services Limited (BATS Ltd.), main function of the company is to provide quality education in Aviation Industry and send quality product in the market as well the company's proposed plan is to create jobs in aviation industry like international airlines, call centre, travel agencies, cargo agencies etc. BATS Ltd. is going to start international airline call centres across India. The company has been certified by ISO 9001 : 2000 for its quality system. The company will manage all type of jobs related with aviation industry in India and abroad.
The Aircraft ATMI is the only institute in Bihar/Jharkhand which is IATA  Authorised (IATA Authorisation Number : IN-TIR-2-07-001) and has sent hundreds of qualified candidates in different companies of Airline industries since 2002.
